Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Matric with ITI, OR Apprenticeship Training with NTC, OR NCTVT.
- Experience: 3 years of arc welding experience after qualification, including covered arc welding of 9 mm carbon steel butt joints without backing strip as per ISO 9606-1. Experience in Enclosed Arc (EA) welding is preferred.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 1 October 2026, with relaxation as per Government of India rules.
- Medical: Sound health and free from colour blindness. No relaxation in health standards.
Salary and Benefits
- Pay Scale: Rs. 22,000 – 63,000 per month (basic).
- Allowances: Variable DA and other allowances as per IRCON rules. No HRA is paid, but bachelor accommodation is provided at project sites.
- Increment: 3% of basic every year based on performance.
- Health Insurance: Rs. 5 lakh cover (premium reimbursed up to a limit).
- Service Bond: Rs. 5 lakh for the initial 2 years and extension (maximum 3 years).
The job is co-terminus with the project and does not give any right to permanent absorption.
